Baseball Recap: Tulpehocken Takes a Loss

After soaring to 19 runs the game before, Tulpehocken was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They fell 6-2 to the Hamburg Hawks. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 10-4 to the Hawks when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Tulpehocken saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grant Gehman, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI. That triple marked the first that Gehman hit this season.

Tulpehocken's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Hamburg, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tulpehocken will host Schuylkill Valley at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hamburg, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Wyomissing at 4:15 p.m.
