Volleyball Game Preview: Oakmont Vikings vs. Center Cougars + How To Watch

The Oakmont Vikings will face off against the Center Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Center took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Oakmont, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Oakmont was able to grind out a solid victory over Mira Loma, taking the game 3-1. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Matadors: they've now won five in a row.

Oakmont had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-7, 25-14, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Colfax.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-13, 25-17.

Oakmont's victory bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Center, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.

Everything went Oakmont's way against Center in their previous meeting back in September, as Oakmont made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
