Spotsylvania is 9-0-1 against Culpeper County since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Knights will host the Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Spotsylvania was handed a six-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-7 win over Courtland. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Knights have posted since May 15, 2025.

Culpeper County never got on the board in their matchup on Tuesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against James Monroe on Thursday. They skirted past the Yellow Jackets 12-10. The win continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Yellow Jackets: they've now won four in a row.

Spotsylvania's victory bumped their record up to 6-10-1. As for Culpeper County, their win bumped their record up to 13-10.

Spotsylvania got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in April against Culpeper County by a conclusive 11-3 score. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Blue Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
