Basketball Recap: Manawa Takes a Loss

Manawa was the 48-31 winner over Amherst when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolves fell 48-44 to the Falcons on Friday. Wolves fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Falcons since Friday.

Manawa now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Amherst, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Manawa will host Crandon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Amherst, they will face off against Westfield Area at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
