Greenwich won the last time they faced Westhill, and Hiro Sibble did his part to make sure it happened again. The Cardinals had just enough and edged out the Vikings 3-2 on Tuesday for which the team can thank Sibble, who had 34 digs, 19 kills, and three aces. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 10.6 digs per game.

Greenwich had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-27, 26-24, 25-21, 16-14.

Greenwich moved to 4-8 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Westhill, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.

Greenwich has already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against Warde/Ludlowe on the 10th. Westhill has also already played their next matchup (against Danbury), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
