Baseball Recap: Kingston Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lindsay last Thursday, Kingston came back down to earth. The Redskins fell 10-5 to the Lone Grove Longhorns on Saturday. The Redskins have struggled against the Longhorns recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Kingston's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Lone Grove, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 18-3.

Looking ahead, Kingston will head out to challenge Valliant at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lone Grove, they will welcome Lexington at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
