Recap: Lamar Warriors vs. Dover Pirates
The Lamar Warriors waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with six straight wins but they left with seven. They walked away with a 62-55 victory over Dover. 62 seems to be a good number for Lamar as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Leading Lamar to victory were Lane Miller and Ben Noonan. Miller scored 22 points along with six rebounds, while Noonan dropped a double-double on 11 points and 17 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Miller has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Caleb Green, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.
Lamar is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. As for Dover, they dropped their record down to 4-14 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road.
Lamar will be playing in front of their home fans against Central Arkansas Christian at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday. Central Arkansas Christian will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak. As for Dover, they will head out on the road to take on Perryville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
