Recap: Mifflinburg Wildcats vs. Muncy Indians
The third road contest was the charm for the Mifflinburg Wildcats, as they earned their first road win of the season. They strolled past Muncy with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 60-45. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Mifflinburg also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Muncy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Noah Confer, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and four steals. The contest was Confer's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Konnor Shearer, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
The victory got Mifflinburg back to even at 2-2. As for Muncy, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-2.
Mifflinburg will head out on the road to face off against East Juniata at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Muncy will be home for the holidays to greet Warrior Run at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Warrior Run will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.
