Basketball Recap: Kennedy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Richmond last Tuesday, Kennedy came back down to earth. The Kennedy Eagles came up short against the El Cerrito Gauchos on Thursday, falling 77-53. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Gauchos recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for El Cerrito, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kennedy has already played their next matchup (against Swett), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. El Cerrito has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Hercules.
