Alan Mesillas Game Report: @ Gooding

Alan Mesillas posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Saturday. He struck out 11 batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits (and not a single walk). Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 6.5 strikeouts per game.

Even though Mesillas couldn't lead Glenns Ferry over Gooding, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Glenns Ferry has some work to do to even out the 1-9 series between these two since May of 2017, but a win here would be a good start.
