Volleyball Recap: Corona del Mar Takes a Loss

Corona del Mar suffered their biggest loss since August 28th on Saturday. They came up short against the Newport Harbor Sailors, falling 3-0. The Sea Kings have struggled against the Sailors recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Corona del Mar's defeat dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Newport Harbor, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Corona del Mar is set to square off against their familiar foe Marina at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Newport Harbor will take on rival Los Alamitos at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
