Basketball Recap: Northeast Metro RVT Comes Up Short

Northeast Metro RVT was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 62-49 to the Triton Regional Vikings. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 61-43 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the loss, Northeast Metro RVT still got an impressive performance from Esien Clarke, who posted 26 points. Those 26 points gave Clarke a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeanahel Exilus, who put up 12 points.

Northeast Metro RVT's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Triton Regional, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Northeast Metro RVT wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 72-34 loss against Saugus on the 29th. As for Triton Regional, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 64-41 defeat against Stoneham on the 29th.
