Softball Recap: Cimarron Drops Season-High Score on Hugoton

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cimarron). Everything went their way against the Hugoton Eagles on Tuesday as they made off with a 22-8 win. Considering the Bluejays have won nine matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Cimarron and bumps their season record up to 13-9. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs in those games. As for Hugoton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.

Cimarron will head out to challenge Goodland at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hugoton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
