It was a good run, but White Oak unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 65-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Mecklenburg Sabres. While the Vikings didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Sabres 15-10 in the first quarter.

South Mecklenburg got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jim Gatehouse out in front who posted 16 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Houpt, who went 5 of 11 on his way to 15 points.

White Oak's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for South Mecklenburg, they pushed their record up to 10-7 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

White Oak will venture away from home to take on Dixon at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. White Oak is facing Dixon at the right time seeing as Dixon is stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for South Mecklenburg, they will face off against Ardrey Kell at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
