Volleyball Recap: St. Paul Comes Up Short

St. Paul was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pittsburg Dragons.

Kyndahl Venneman paced St. Paul's offense, picking up five kills. Venneman got some help from Ava Dent and her nine assists. Venneman was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Among those leading the charge was Erika Maxwell, who had nine digs and two assists. That's the most assists she has posted over her last four contests.

St. Paul's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Pittsburg, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

St. Paul has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Girard on the 13th. As for Pittsburg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Louisburg on the 13th.
