Basketball Recap: Foyil Takes a Loss

Foyil was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 39-24 to the Afton Eagles. The Panthers lost against the Eagles in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 60-16 score last time.

Foyil's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Afton, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Foyil has already played their next match (against Bluejacket), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Afton has already played their next game, a 51-49 victory against Commerce on the 14th.
