Soccer Recap: Lovington vs. Roswell
After flying high against Chaparral last Saturday, Lovington came back down to earth. The Lovington Wildcats fell just short of the Roswell Coyotes by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Wildcats couldn't quite close it out.

Dylan Gallegos scored both of Lovington's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 21 goals.
Lovington's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Roswell, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
Lovington will venture away from home to face off against Artesia at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Artesia will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Lovington surely won't give up without a fight. As for Roswell, they will host Portales at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
