Baseball Game Preview: Palm Bay Pirates vs. Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy Tigers

The Palm Bay Pirates will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Palm Bay, who comes in off a win.

Last Thursday, Palm Bay beat Westwood 10-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pirates.

Keiran Cummings made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Cummings was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.

Noah Thatcher made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (two). Roman Carlson was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

Palm Bay's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-1.
