Basketball Recap: Chilton County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to 58 points the game before, Chilton County was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They came up short against the Wetumpka Indians, falling 54-30. The Tigers have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Chilton County still got an impressive performance from Damarien Floyd, who went 6-for-15 en route to 18 points and six boards. The game was Floyd's fifth in a row with at least 16 points.

Kaleb Ballard produced another solid effort dropping a double-double with 18 points and 17 rebounds for Wetumpka. Ballard is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: he's posted at least three every time he's taken the court this season. Chris Robinson was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with ten boards and nine assists.

Chilton County's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Wetumpka, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.

Chilton County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 87-71 defeat against Thompson on the 9th. As for Wetumpka, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, an 80-33 victory against Marbury on the 8th.
