Softball Recap: North Forsyth Comes Up Short

North Forsyth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to the West Stokes Wildcats, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 on Friday.

North Forsyth's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for West Stokes, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. North Forsyth is set to challenge their familiar foe Morehead at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, West Stokes will square off against rival Walkertown at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (West Stokes 3.8, Walkertown 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
