Basketball Recap: Three Straight Road Wins for St. Stephens

St. Stephens's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They took down the Bunker Hill Bears 55-41. While the Indians didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

St. Stephens' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.7 points over those games. As for Bunker Hill, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, St. Stephens will head out to square off against Bandys at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Indians will need to watch out since the Trojans have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Bunker Hill, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hickory at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Bears' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
