Soccer Recap: Christ the King Takes a Loss

Christ the King was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Lake Norman Charter Knights. Christ the King were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Lake Norman Charter earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Christ the King's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Lake Norman Charter, they moved to 5-9-1 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christ the King will host Bradford Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lake Norman Charter, they will square off against Pine Lake Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Pine Lake Prep's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
