Basketball Recap: York Takes a Loss

After flying high against Perry last Wednesday, York came back down to earth. The York Golden Knights fell 47-38 to the Caledonia-Mumford Raiders on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-48 back in January.

York's loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Caledonia-Mumford, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.

Coming up, York will welcome Le Roy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Caledonia-Mumford, they will venture away from home to challenge Avon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
