Seymour was handed a heart-breaking two-point loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Kennedy on Monday. The Seymour Wildcats blew past the Kennedy Eagles 60-18. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won eight in a row.

Seymour got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Skylar Barton out in front who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Cunningham, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 12 rebounds.

Seymour smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in four consecutive matchups.

Seymour's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Kennedy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-18.
