After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Eastside, Antelope Valley was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Desert Scorpions by a score of 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Antelopes in their matchups with the Scorpions: they've now won six in a row.

Antelope Valley had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 25-27, 25-23, 25-19, 25-21.

Antelope Valley's win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Desert, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Antelope Valley will take on Palmdale at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Antelopes are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Desert, they will be taking part in a tournament against Lancaster on Saturday.
