Softball Recap: Rensselaer Central Takes a Loss

Rensselaer Central lost against West Central back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bombers lost 8-2 to the Trojans. The Bombers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rensselaer Central saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kali Northcutt, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that Northcutt has hit this season.

Rensselaer Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for West Central, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record.

Rensselaer Central has already played their next match, a 15-4 win against Benton Central on the 18th. As for West Central, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-0 victory against Washington Township on the 17th.
