Softball Recap: Valders Finds Playoff Glory Versus Brillion

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Valders walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Brillion Lions on Tuesday. Considering the Vikings have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Valders has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Brillion, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 21-4.

As of now, neither Valders nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
