Recap: North Cross Raiders vs. Stuart Hall Dragons
On Tuesday, North Cross was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 57-53 to Stuart Hall. North Cross has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
North Cross' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jesiah Hines, who scored 21 points. Another player making a difference was Antonio Mack, who scored 16 points.
North Cross has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season. As for Stuart Hall, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Cross will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Fork Union Military Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 25th. As for Stuart Hall, they will take on Williamsburg Christian Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
