It was a good run, but Murray unfortunately witnessed the end of their 11-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Syracuse Titans. Considering the last time the Spartans couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Alex Beckstead paced Murray's offense, picking up seven kills. Beckstead got some help from Daniel Haskell and his ten assists.

Murray's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Syracuse, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Murray didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Ogden on the 19th. As for Syracuse, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Clearfield on the 19th.
