Basketball Recap: Arabia Mountain's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Dunwoody came into Friday's match looking for another win against Arabia Mountain, but Joseph Smith wouldn't allow it. The Arabia Mountain Rams were the clear victor by a 66-41 margin over the Dunwoody Wildcats on Friday thanks in part to Smith, who went 7 for 15 on his way to 18 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. Those seven boards gave him a new career-high.

Arabia Mountain's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-11. As for Dunwoody, they dropped their record down to 7-13 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Arabia Mountain will welcome Decatur at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Arabia Mountain knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Decatur likes a good challenge. Dunwoody has already played their next contest (against Shiloh), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
