Soccer Game Preview: Ashley Hall vs. Pinewood Prep

Ashley Hall hasn't had much luck against Pinewood Prep recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. Ashley Hall will head out to challenge Pinewood Prep at 5:00 p.m. Ashley Hall has given up an average of 4.2 goals per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Ashley Hall came into their game two weeks ago off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 8-0 to Porter-Gaud. While losing is never fun, Ashley Hall can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while Porter-Gaud are ranked third).

Meanwhile, Pinewood Prep waltzed into their game on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Golden Warrriors by a score of 3-1.

Paisleigh Dasinger and Izabelle Pesce scored all three of Pinewood Prep's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 38 goals.

Pinewood Prep's win bumped their record up to 10-3-1. As for Ashley Hall, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Ashley Hall might still be hurting after the 10-0 defeat they got from Pinewood Prep when the teams last played back in March. Can Ashley Hall avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
