It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lincoln Park Academy can now relate to. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Lake Placid Dragons who were credited with the victory on Thursday. The Lake Placid Dragons got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Lincoln Park Academy Greyhounds' two. The Greyhounds' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Aidan Aguilar, who's now up to eight this season.

Lincoln Park Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Lake Placid, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-9-2.

Lincoln Park Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lake Placid, they will face off against Avon Park at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
