Volleyball Recap: Mathews Takes a Loss

Mathews suffered their biggest loss since September 18th on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the West Point Pointers. The defeat continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their meetings with the Pointers: they've now lost four in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-12, 25-12.

Mathews now has a losing record of 7-8. As for West Point, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-8.

Coincidentally, Mathews and West Point will both be playing King William the next time they take the court. The Blue Devils will host the Cavaliers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Pointers will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
