After a string of four wins, Southwest Florida Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They lost 4-0 to the Naples Golden Eagles. While losing is never fun, the King's can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 425th, while the Golden Eagles are ranked 141st).

Southwest Florida Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Naples, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southwest Florida Christian will challenge Donahue Catholic at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Donahue Catholic has won four straight at home, while Southwest Florida Christian won five straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Naples, they will square off against Belen Jesuit at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
