Football Recap: Munday Falls Despite Big Games from Kiyryn Wilson and Haiden Bowman

Munday was the 20-13 winner over Haskell when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Moguls lost 44-20 to the Indians on Friday. The Moguls were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-6.

Munday's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Haiden Bowman, who rushed for 136 yards and one score on only ten carries, and Kiyryn Wilson, who rushed for 81 yards and a pair of TDs.

Haegen Pinkerton continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Haskell, rushing for 235 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.2 yards per carry, and also throwing for 115 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten passes. That's the most rushing touchdowns Pinkerton has posted since back in October of 2024. Ethan Camaco was Pinkerton's top target, picking up four receiving yards.

Munday dropped their record down to 3-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Haskell, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Munday didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 42-20 loss against Electra on the 17th. As for Haskell, they have also already played their next game, a 44-18 victory against Archer City on the 17th.
