Basketball Recap: Hampton Hawks vs. College View Academy Eagles
The Hampton Hawks scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 66-34 victory over College View Academy at home. The victory was familiar territory for Hampton who now have three in a row.
Hampton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Eli Arndt, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Porter Dose, who scored 19 points.
Hampton's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for College View Academy, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-11.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hampton will face off against the Chargers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for College View Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against the Cougars on Tuesday.
