Volleyball Game Preview: St. Charles Fighting Saints vs. Cochrane-Fountain City Pirates

The St. Charles Fighting Saints will take on the Cochrane-Fountain City Pirates in a tournament on Saturday. St. Charles started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-10, 25-12, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Cochrane-Fountain City was able to grind out a solid win over Augusta on Thursday, taking the game 3-1.

Cochrane-Fountain City was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-19, 20-25, 28-26.

St. Charles' loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Cochrane-Fountain City, their victory bumped their record up to 19-8.
