Soccer Game Preview: South Lafourche vs. Thibodaux

South Lafourche is 0-10 against Thibodaux since December of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The South Lafourche Tarpons will take on the Thibodaux Tigers at 5:00 p.m.

South Lafourche is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let De La Salle onto the board and left with an 8-0 win on Saturday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Tarpons as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in November, Thibodaux was forced to settle for a draw on Saturday. They and Fontainebleau finished up their match with a 3-3 draw.

Thibodaux's draw gives them a new season record of 6-2-2. As for South Lafourche, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

South Lafourche suffered a grim 8-0 defeat to Thibodaux when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Can South Lafourche avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
