Mingo Central won the last time they faced Tolsia and things went their way on Friday too. The Mingo Central Miners sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 62-60 victory over the Tolsia Rebels. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Miners.

Mingo Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Devin Maynard, who posted 20 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Dotson, who went 5 of 11 on his way to 14 points and seven rebounds.

Mingo Central's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Tolsia, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Mingo Central will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Logan at 7:00 p.m. Tolsia will take on Belfry in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
