Soccer Game Preview: Jackson vs. Ferguson

After a short break, it's finally time for some more action. The Jackson Generals will take on the Ferguson Falcons at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jackson's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Ferguson's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Jackson is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Southwest just ended the team's three-game winning streak back in December of 2024. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 1-0. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Generals came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 135th, while the Eagles are ranked 413th).

Meanwhile, Ferguson put another one in the bag back in December of 2024 to keep their undefeated season alive. They won by a goal and slipped past Varela 2-1.

Having lost for the first time this season, Jackson fell to 8-1-1. As for Ferguson, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0-1.
