Itawamba Agricultural had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 12-4 margin over the Caledonia Cavaliers. This was payback for the Indians, who suffered a 10-9 loss the last time these two teams met.

Itawamba Agricultural's victory bumped their record up to 17-7. As for Caledonia, they moved to 11-8 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
