Volleyball Game Preview: Couch Indians vs. Dora Falcons

The Couch Indians will square off against the Dora Falcons at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Couch is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

On Thursday, it was close, but Couch sidestepped Thayer for a 3-2 win.

Couch was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-23, 25-27, 25-22, 15-9.

Dora not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since October 15, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Seymour. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Dora was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-9, 25-16.

Dora's win bumped their record up to 5-12-1. As for Couch, their victory bumped their record up to 22-9-1.

Couch beat Dora 2-0 when the teams last played back in August. Do the Indians have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Falcons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
