St. Thomas Aquinas is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Assumption. The Raiders fell 2-0 to the Rockets. The Raiders' loss signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Isabella Sangha paced St. Thomas Aquinas' offense, picking up nine kills. Sangha got some help from Hailey Trebbien and her nine assists.

St. Thomas Aquinas' defeat dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Assumption, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-1.

St. Thomas Aquinas wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against St. Ursula Academy on the 13th. As for Assumption, they will face off against Sacred Heart at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
