Even though the Comets got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Gabe Lara was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.
Clayton pushed their record up to 3-0 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Hoke County, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
Clayton has the luxury of staying home for another game and will welcome Northern Nash at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hoke County, they will challenge Red Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
