Brewer and Argyle squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Brewer had to settle for second. They fell 4-1 to the Eagles. The Bears' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Cozette Tyson put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched seven innings while giving up four earned runs off five hits. Tyson was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one double.

Brewer's loss dropped their record down to 18-12. As for Argyle, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-14 record this season.
