NSU University took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against American Heritage, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Sharks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Patriots on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Sharks sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

NSU University was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 25-27, 25-23, 21-25, 25-14, 15-10.

When it comes to explaining why American Heritage lost, don't look at Carly Tabony. Despite the final result, she had 14 digs and four assists.

NSU University's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for American Heritage, with the loss, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 10-9.

NSU University wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against West Boca Raton on the 29th. As for American Heritage, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Atlantic Christian on the 29th.
