Baseball Recap: St. Michael the Archangel Takes a Loss

St. Michael the Archangel lost against Summit Christian Academy on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Guardians took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Guardians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Michael the Archangel saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colston Lyon, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

St. Michael the Archangel's defeat dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Summit Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 24-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Michael the Archangel will venture away from home to challenge Warrensburg at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Summit Christian Academy, they will head out to take on Van Horn at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
