Soccer Game Preview: Southern Alamance vs. Jordan-Matthews

The Southern Alamance Patriots will head out to take on the Jordan-Matthews Jets at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jordan-Matthews took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Southern Alamance, who comes in off a win.

Southern Alamance will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Monday, then bounced right back against Cedar Ridge on Wednesday. Southern Alamance came out on top against Cedar Ridge by a score of 4-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Southern Alamance.

Meanwhile, Jordan-Matthews was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against Seaforth, falling 9-0.

Jordan-Matthews' loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Southern Alamance, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2-1.

Southern Alamance took their win against Jordan-Matthews in their previous matchup back in February by a conclusive 9-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Southern Alamance since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
