It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Calvary Christian had no problem doing just that on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Stratford Academy Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Knights have beaten the Eagles the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Eagles has come to flipping the script.

Abigail Steffens paced Calvary Christian's offense, picking up nine kills. Steffens got some help from Olivia Smithwick and her 17 assists. Ayden Steffens controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Despite the loss, Stratford Academy still got an impressive performance from Bea Leary, who had nine digs and three aces.

Calvary Christian's victory bumped their record up to 23-6. As for Stratford Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-13.

Calvary Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against St. Anne-Pacelli on the 4th. Stratford Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
