Baseball Recap: Lafayette County Comes Up Short

Lafayette County might've scored the first runs on Monday, but it was Columbia Christian who claimed the real prize. The Cougars came up short against the Crusaders, falling 15-4. The Cougars' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Lafayette County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trey Knighton, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Lafayette County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Columbia Christian, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
